The Big Slab

how many times did you hear people that wanted to look at construction sites at kingdumb or a$$embly hells?

i remember when i first started, the big deal was the a$$embly hell slab.

they made a big deal about having me seeing the site, even when it was bare.

I guarded the big slab . . like who is gonna steal it? WTF? To be honest I felt like a total maroon guarding a frikken slab of concrete . . . The local sherrifs deputy stopped by to ask me WTF was I doing there at 2:00 in the am. When I told him I was security he exclaimed "It's a concrete slab!!", got in his cruiser and sailed off . .

Incompetent zoo keepers...

a beautiful siberian tiger escapes, kills one man and mauls two others.

then is shot and killed by police.

Gregor, it appears that it was not "incompetent zookeepers" but cruel humans who precipitated this tragedy.

Several major news sources are reporting that the three men who were attacked were tormenting the animal, throwing things at it and so forth. The animal apparently acted in self defence, jumping the moat and scaling the wall to attack those that were threatening it.

If that is the case, then I have no sympathy for them. Their sensless cruelty resulted in the death of one and the mauling of two others, and the death of a beautiful large cat.

A subject that fascinated me since my own sighting when I was (I think) six years old in NH in 1959 or so. Hopefully the files released will not be over sanitised.

This is the one that has me baffled . . taken in Italy in the 90's and allegedly leaked by someone from the Italian govt to a researcher.

Everyone has an agenda . . there are those who may have reasons for it to be labeled a hoax and there are those who will wish to believe so strongly that it is real that it clouds their reason (sound familiar??)

They say it is fake because the disk is much sharper than the background . . . well duh, that's because it is much closer than the background and there is much less atmospheric haze and light scatter on the object in the video.

I fall on the side that this video is not faked, it is a real object, but from where and who's technology?

I remain a skeptical believer . . extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

If you do this thing you will be miserable and it WILL divide you in the future. Better to say hasta la vista now before there are children involved.

You are very fortunate to have the cognitive powers to see what it is BEFORE you get married and or baptised into the kult, that is what it is . . a kult. Many are not as fortunate as you and come to these realizations much later when there is a family to be torn asunder. And at that time your husband would be the martyr and you would be the evil bad person.

Be thankful, and move on.

mkr make some good points even if put a bit harshly.

Most of you have not seen the "other side" or been on the receiving end of senseless violence or crime, I have. Being mugged by a 13 yr old with a handgun changes your perspective. So does almost getting shot in a convenience store robbery.

I also volunteered for a short while as a substance abuse counselor. Now THAT will open your eyes to the "other side". True, many people are a victim of their circumstances, are not many of us here?? But there is always that hardcore, incorrigable, amoral minority.

The big elephant in the middle of the room is this: Being human does not necessarily make one "Human".
